Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai Welcome to Shanghai! Upon your arrival at the Shanghai airport, you will find our guide waiting for you outside the customs. After greeting each other, you will be escorted to your hotel. Later, our guide will lead you to visit the Bund, a must-see hot spot in Shanghai, where you could see many old western-style architectures along one bank of Huangpu River and modern skyscrapers along the other. Then we will head for Nanjing Road, one of the top business streets in China with over one hundred years of history and a center that appeals to various fashion pioneers. There are many time-horned stores for you to explore. Later, we will move to Tianzifang and stroll at those narrow lanes to feel the artistic atmosphere over there.
Day 2: Shanghai - Huangshan In the morning, we will go to visit Shanghai Museum to appreciate the ancient artworks displayed there which include bronze, china and jade wares, seals, paintings and calligraphies. After that, we will go for a walk at Yu Garden built over 400 years ago to enjoy its elegant gardening landscape. After lunch, we will set off to visit Shanghai World Financial Center, the second tallest building in Shanghai with a 474-meter-high (1,555 feet) sightseeing skywalk, which provides a bird’s eye view of the entire city. After the visit, the Shanghai guide will send you to the railway station for a 3-hour high speed train to Huangshan. Day 3: Huangshan After breakfast, we will drive to the foot of Huangshan Mountain and then take a cable car to reach the highlights of the mountain, which will allow you to appreciate the magnificent scenery of Huangshan from a different angle. On the way, we will first arrive at the Beginning-to-Believe Peak with steep cliffs, amazing rocks and wondrous pines. Then reach to the Peach Blossom Peak. If coming here in March or April, you will see peach flowers all over the peak. Then we will go to Lion Peak, which looks like a raring lion crouching at the top of the peak. After that, we will head for the Flying Stone, an upright rock amazingly standing on another flat rock with a small interface. Then we will continue the trip to the Bright Summit, one of the best viewing points to appreciate the sea clouds and sunset of Mt. Huangshan. Day 4: Departure from Huangshan In the early morning, we will go to the Could Dispersing Pavilion, where you could appreciate the breathtakingly beautiful scenery of the peaks and clouds. Then we will visit Xihai Grand Canyon, a beautiful and mysterious area surrounded by steep mountains and absurd stones. After lunch, we will get back to the mountain foot by a cable car. Then the guide will transfer you to the nearby airport or railway station and see you off there. The airport at Huangshan operates flights directly to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other major cities. While through the Huangshan North Railway Station, you could take a 3-hour bullet train to Shanghai or 2-hour bullet train to Hangzhou. You can contact us at any time if you need more services.
