Day 1: Arrival in Bogota, Airport pick-up
On the first day of Colombia vacation packages, your guide and a driver will welcome you at the airport of Bogota and then send you to check-in at the hotel. Bogota is home to some of the best street art in the world, especially the graffiti. You could have a good rest at the hotel and later take a walk at the nearby blocks.

Day 2: Bogota full day highlight tour
Your Colombia vacation today will begin with a short drive to Mount Monserrate, located at the center of Bogota, over 3,100 meters (10,170 feet) high. After arrival, we will take a cable car to reach its top and overlook the entire city. Then we will drive to La Candelaria, a historical neighborhood in the downtown city, housing some popular libraries, museums, and narrow cobbled streets lined with old colonial churches, houses and buildings. We will take a stroll at central Plaza de Bolivar and then visit Museo de Botero, a major museum of Latin America's international art collections. Next, we will go to another museum called Museo del Oro which contains the world's largest collection of gold artifacts. During the walking tour, you could also try some snacks along the streets.

Day 3: Visit Laguna de Guatavita and Salt Cathedral, Fly to Armenia
After breakfast, your guide and the driver will pick you up and drive 1.5 hours to Laguna de Guatavita, an enchanting forest-fringed crater lake in central Colombia. When arriving, we will have a short hike to the lake. Since it often rains, we suggest to wear suitable shoes and bring an umbrella or a raincoat with you. Next, we will take a one hour's drive to visit Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá. It is a Roman Catholic Church built inside the tunnels of a salt mine and made of salt deposits. After the visit, we will send you to the airport for the flight to Armenia. The local guide and the driver waiting at the airport in Armenia will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 4: Drive to visit Cocora Valley and Filandia
Today we will drive to visit Cocora Valley, a national park built to protect the wax palm, Colombia national tree. The wax palms there are the world's tallest ones which can gown up to 60 meters (200 feet) tall. After arrival, we will hike along the muddy trails, cross the tropical forests and streams to reach some of the best viewpoints to overlook the cloud forest. Later, we will take a 40-minute drive to visit a small colonial town called Filandia, noted for colorful architecture and centuries-old coffee plantations. We will be on a guided tour by local coffee farmers to sightsee the coffee plantation.

Day 5: Coffee tour at Hacienda San Alberto, Fly from Armenia to Medellin
This morning, we will drive an hour to visit Hacienda San Alberto, sightseeing the epic scenery of the world-famous coffee farm, touring around its processing center and getting to know how this high-end coffee is made. You could also visit its laboratory and have a taste of the coffee.

After that, we will send you to catch the flight to Medellin, the second-largest city in Colombia, once home to notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar but now being transformed into a city of creativity and innovation.

Day 6: Graffiti tour at Comuna 13 of Medellin
On today's Colombia vacation packages, the guide will accompany you to take the metro cable to visit Comuna 13, a vibrant art neighborhood tucked away in the rolling mountains and adorned with expressive graffiti murals. On the way, your guide will help you learn more about the history of the neighborhood's transformation and appreciate the graffiti thoroughly.

Next, we will go for a leisurely stroll at the shady streets of El Poblado, a popular neighborhood for foreigners to stay, surrounded by chic café, fashion shops and various international restaurants. The rest time will be arranged by yourself. You could have an independent visit to Parque Lleras, the nightlife capital of Medellin, where you could sample local snacks, have some delicious drinks at the parks, bars or clubs, and enjoy an exotic Salsa dance performance.

Day 7: One day tour with Guatape
In the morning, we will go to visit Guatape, a town and municipality located a 1.5-hour drive from Medellin. We'll first climb the El Peñol, an isolated granitic rock bordering Guatape which is about 200 meters (656 feet) high and with 649 steps, offering a breathtaking view of the nearby landscape. Then we will tour around the colorful town, enjoying its brightly painted murals and experiencing its surreal vibe.

Day 8: Fly to Cartagena, Visit Walled City & San Felipe Castile
This morning, you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Cartagena, a colonial port city on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Our local guide in Cartagena will send you to the hotel. After a good rest, we will take a walk at the historic Walled City in the heart of Old Cartagena, surrounded by an 11 km (7 mi) long stone wall built to protect the city from Caribbean pirate raids. It also features well-preserved plazas, old churches, and outdoor cafés all filled with colonial ambiance. Next, we will pay a visit to San Felipe Castile, an iconic fortress built on the top of a hill during the Spanish colonial era.

Day 9: Full day tour with Islas del Rosario
After breakfast, your guide will take you to the dock for a 45-minute boat ride to Islas del Rosario, an archipelago consisting of about 27 small coral islands and some stunning Caribbean beaches with clean white sand, sparkling blue waters, and mangrove or palm forests. We'll take a laid-back walk and sunbathe at the beach and go scuba diving or snorkeling at the sea, sightseeing the colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. After that, go back to Cartagena at dusk.

Day 10: Free day in Cartagena
Today is a free day for you to explore Cartagena at leisure. If you like to visit churches or museums, you could go to Convento De La Popa, the Monument to India Catalina, Church of San Pedro Claver and Las Bóvedas. You could also go for a street food tour in the old city. At night, you could experience some of the best nightlife in Colombia by hopping on a Chiva Party Bus to travel through the streets, sample local snacks and enjoy a live band playing or street dancing at some of the stops.

Day 11: Depart from Cartagena
