Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul, Airport Pick-up
It will be our great honor to serve you in Turkey. Upon your arrival in Istanbul airport today, our representative will pick you up on time and then transfer you to the hotel we reserve you for in advance. After check-in, please take a good rest and get ready for the coming explorations. If you are energetic and time is early, it’s wise to get the first-hand knowledge of the city on your own by visiting some attractions nearby. 

To the northwest of the hotel about 3 minutes walking away, stands the Nuruosmaniye Mosque. It is a typical baroque style building and one of the most frequently visited mosques among the locals. You may take a stroll there to appreciate the building and observe the locals’ life. In its front square, there are many pigeons; you may also feed them to have fun.

Day 2: Day Trip in Istanbul Old City Area
Today, our local guide will show you around the old city area of Istanbul with rich historical relics. The first stop will be the ancient Hippodrome of the Byzantine Era. It is one of the most visited squares in the city. We will take a stroll there to see the historical buildings on it and then proceed to visit the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Museum around. The Blue Mosque is one of the landmarks of Istanbul, named after its interior walls that are decorated with more than 20,000 blue and white İznik tiles. What also makes it unique is that it has 6 minarets. Hagia Sophia Museum, once a church in Byzantine Era and a monastery in Ottoman Era, is a typical religious architecture combining Christian and Islamic style. It stand outs for a giant round roof with the diameters of 31 meters (34 yards). 

After lunch, go on to explore Topkapi Palace, the imperial palace and political center of Ottoman Empire from 15th to 19th century. It is not a European style only architecture complex, but combines Islamic and other architectural styles. It is currently the largest museum of Turkey, housing religious tools, porcelains, weapons, jewelries and clothes of Sultans. While visiting inside, obey the rules and do not step into the prohibited areas. Today’s tour will end at Grand Bazaar, the indoor fair with more than 4,000 shops on 65 streets. It is a lively place with a variety of goods, mainly including tea sets, spices, porcelain, carpets, gold and silver jewelry, lamps, and paper arts. Some shops also sell local food, such as doner kebab and Turkish burritos. After the visit, send you back to the hotel.

Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise, Fly to Cappadocia
Today’s visit will begin with another bazaar, the Spice Bazaar, also known as the Egyptian Market, where you can buy the most traditional spices and food of Turkey. Not only tourists, but also locals come here to buy daily necessities and ingredients, so it is a good place to observe the daily life of Turkish people. Then the guide will accompany you to enjoy a 2-hour Bosphorus Cruise. Bosphorus Strait divides Istanbul into two parts, which is also the dividing line of Asia and Europe. On the cruise you can see many attractions on shore, such as Dolmabahce Palace (New Palace), Ciragan Palace, Bosphorus Bridge and many Ottoman-style buildings. 

After, the driver will transfer you to the airport for you to take the flight we book for you to Cappadocia. When you arrive in Cappadocia, our driver based there will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

The rest of the day is your free time. It is highly recommended to enjoy a hot air balloon ride, which is one of the must-dos in Cappadocia with lunar-like landscapes. Please let us know in advance if you wish to take it, so we can book a seat for you successfully.

Day 4: North Cappadocia Tour
After breakfast, our local guide will escort you to explore the North Cappadocia. The first stop will be the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage. It is famous for the volcanic rock groups. Those rocks are not that hard and ancient people, especially Christians carved churches inside. They even decorated the churches with exquisite frescoes and some are well preserved till today with bright colors. We'll then visit Avanos, a small town famous for making pottery; Pasabag Monk Valley, also known as Fairy Chimney Valley because many rocks here are shaped like chimneys; Devrent Valley with rocks resembling various animals; and Kizilirmak River, the longest river of Turkey. After, send you back to the hotel. En route, make a stop at Love Valley, where you can take pictures of the magnificent landscapes of Cappadocia.

Day 5: South Cappadocia Tour, Fly to Istanbul
Today, continue to visit the South Cappadocia. At first, the guide will lead you to Uchisar Castle, which is the highest and largest rock building in Cappadocia, and had been a defensive fortress in ancient times. Then, go on to visit the Rose Valley full of towering rocks; Red Valley named after the red land and rocks and where we'll enjoy a 2-hour hiking; Cavusin Village, a deserted ancient village rich in rock houses. The last sightseeing stop of today will be Kaymakli Underground City, the largest underground city in Cappadocia. Dated to 4th century BC and being enlarged year after year, it finally got 8 levels reaching as deep as 40 meters (130 feet). 

At the end of the day, we will escort you to the airport for you to take the flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, our local driver will greet you there and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 6: Departure from Istanbul

If your flight is scheduled in the afternoon or later this day, it will be an unforgettable experience to enjoy a dip in one of those traditional hamam. About 3 minutes’ walking southwest to the hotel, Cemberlitas Hamam has been operated since 1584. The classic hamam services, clay facial mask, oil massage and head massage are all available here.
