In the morning, we will leave for the Altun Ha Mayan archaeological site, also a significant trading and agricultural town founded at around 200 BC and flourished until 900 AD. It boasts two main ceremonial plazas surrounded by temples. The discoveries include shell necklaces, pottery, pearls and jade ware. Later, we will pay a visit to the Belize Zoo. The zoo cares over 150 kinds of native wildlife including howler monkeys, jaguars, deer, peccary, kinkajou, egrets, toucans, parrots, eagles, crocodiles, and frogs. It is worth mentioning that none of the animal is taken from the wild. They were donated, rescued or born at the zoo. After today's sightseeing, send you back to the hotel.
