Welcome to Beijing! When you arrive, your guide will be waiting for you outside the airport arrival hall. After a warm greeting, you will be escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest or wander on your own.

Today our Zhangjiajie China tour package in Beijing will begin with a visit to the biggest city square in the world - Tiananmen Square. Then we will walk a few steps to visit the Forbidden City. Composed of ancient palaces for emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911), it possesses more than 600 years of history. At noon, an a la carte lunch will be served where you can taste the authentic Peking Duck. After enjoying lunch, your private guide will take you to the Temple of Heaven where you can appreciate this solemn and old temple.

Beijing is not only culturally splendid but also rich in its charming scenery. Today we will explore one of the famous attractions of Beijing - the Mutianyu Great Wall. A round trip cable car will take you for a bird's eye view of the marvelous scenery. Today you are on your own for lunch and may want to bring it with you since the food choices at the wall are very limited. We will provide some red wine for a toast on the wall. In the afternoon visit the Sacred Way. On the way back to your hotel, we will make a short stop at the Olympic Bird's Nest where you will have time to take some photos.

After breakfast, your private guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and lead you to the Beijing Zoo, to see various precious animals. Then we will visit the Summer Palace where you can feel and appreciate the life style of the royal family during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Next, we will take a Hutong rickshaw tour to learn more about the “Hutong culture” and the life of Beijing folk. Then your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Zhangjiajie. When your flight lands at the airport, our local guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Today will most likely be one of the highlights of your 13 days Zhangjiajie tour package - the visit to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. First we will visit the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area with dense forest, pervading fog, and various mountains. You will have a chance to appreciate famous scenic spots like the Hallelujah Mountain, the shooting location of the movie Avatar.

Next, we will take a tram to the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. Millions of years ago, it was not a mountain but part of the sea. Due to a long and complicated geological process, fantastic landscapes and mountain peaks were formed. We strongly recommend that you take some pictures of the amazing landscape. After that, your private guide will lead you to spend some leisure time along the Golden Whip Stream to explore more wonderful scenery. If you are lucky, you will see many precious and rare wild animals around the stream. Finally, we will take a sightseeing train to appreciate the pure natural scenery along the Ten-Mile Gallery.

After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit the natural oxygen bar - Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon.

It is very exciting to stand on the longest glass bridge in the world. Afterwards, we will go boating on the Baofeng Lake, where you can view the beauty of the clear water and steep cliffs.

Today we will go to Xibu Street, a featured commercial walking street, where you can taste snacks with special flavors and shop for souvenirs. In the afternoon, we will visit the Tian Men Mountain. Afterwards, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Xi’an. When you arrive in Xi'an, our local guide will transfer you to your hotel and help you check in.

This morning after breakfast, we will first visit the Terracotta Army, the eighth wonder of the world. After that, we will go to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, a masterpiece of ancient Buddhist architecture built during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907). Today's last destination will be the Shaanxi History Museum, one of the most famous museums in China. The precious relics on display show the developmental history of ancient Chinese civilization.

This morning, we will spend some leisure time at the Xi'an City Wall, a famous landmark of the ancient capital Xi'an. If you like, you can rent a bike (at you own expense) to cycle around the wall, a popular way to feel the charm of this city. After the visit, we will drive to the home of a local family and have an authentic lunch there. Then we will take a leisurely walk through the Great Mosque where you will learn more about the Chinese religious culture. Then you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Guilin. When you arrive, a local guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel where you will have free time for the rest of the day.

After breakfast, we will take a 4-hour cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. On the way, you can will appreciate the fabulous picturesque scenery along the Li River. Upon arrival at Yangshuo, your guide will take you to the countryside for fresh air and fantastic scenery. After that, you will be escorted back to Guilin.

Today we will visit three famous scenic spots in Guilin - Reed Flute Cave, Seven Stars Park and Elephant Trunk Hill. Reed Flute Cave is known for its various stalactites, the beauty of which are highlighted by the carefully designed colorful lights. Wandering in the big Seven Stars Park, you will feel fully refreshed. After that, your private guide will show you one of the wonder of nature - Elephant Trunk Hill, which is so named because the hill, standing on the bank, has the shape of an elephant, seeming to play with water. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Shanghai, where your guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Today's tour will start with a visit to the Shanghai Museum, famous for its rich collections of precious antiquities. Afterwards, we will visit an ancient classical garden - Yu Garden to enjoy the atmosphere of tranquility and peace inside it. At noon, we will provide an a la carte farewell lunch for you at a famous local restaurant. After lunch, there will be time to wandering leisurely on the Bund, before taking a Huangpu River cruise to view the unique architecture on both banks. Today's sightseeing will end with a stroll on a famous cultural street.
