Welcome to our one day Saigon tour! At around 8:00 in the morning, you'll be picked up at the lobby of your hotel. Then together with the guide and driver, you will go to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels by 1h 45mins' drive. Cu Chi Tunnels is 70 km (43.5 miles) northwest of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), which was built in 1948 with an initial purpose to resist the invasion of French. However, this tunnel complex played a very important role during Vietnam-US War later. In this underground network tunnels having a total length of over 200 km (124.3 miles), there are various homemade weapons, bamboo traps and other defensive facilities. You will also take a chance to enter the mysterious tunnel in person and see some tunnel sections that wasn't bombed out, like the living room, meeting room and simple kitchen. Here you can learn how Viet Cong soldiers lived and fought against the US army in detail. After about 2-hour visit of Cu Chi Tunnels, the guide will escort you back to the urban district.

Vietnamese cuisine is prominent worldwide, you can go for lunch at a restaurant (at your own expense) under the recommendations of your guide.

After lunch, the guide will take you to visit War Remnants Museum, where you will learn more details about Vietnam-US War. The museum is divided into two parts: the outdoor portion displays UH-1 helicopters, an F-5A fighter jet, a BLU-82 "Daisy Cutter" bomb, an M48 Medium Tank, and an A-1 attack aircraft that are all leftovers from the US military; there are 3 floors as to the indoor portion, in which pictures, maps and texts are on show to tell the world how the Vietnamese were killed in war time by advanced weapons and inhumane methods.

Then our Saigon tour will go on to Reunification Palace in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. You'll be guided to the historical site that often visited by domestic and foreign tourists. This is the place where government meetings are held and heads of state are treated, with 100 glorious halls including those for banquets, cabinet meeting rooms, entertainment rooms, the family area of the president, the library, the military basement underground and the command center, etc. The French-style courtyard and buildings are in nice symmetry, which is definitely worthy to visit and learn the political development and history of Vietnam in modern times. The visit here will be around 1 hour.

Finally, you'll get to Central Post Office and Notre-Dame Cathedral with your guide, both of which are noted as Ho Chi Minh City's landmarks that have witnessed the development of Ho Chi Minh City. Central Post Office is more than 100 years old since its foundation in 1886, called Centennial Post Office as well. You could send letters or postcards here to your family and friends. We'll also see the adjacent Notre-Dame Cathedral merely from outside. This French church of a romantic vibe was modeled after Notre Dame de Paris, but it is in red. After the 1-hour visit to the two sites, the tour guide with driver will send you back to your hotel as the tour comes to an end.
