It is a typical Islamic building and covers a large area of canyons in northern Jordan. Standing at the highest point of Ajloun, you can overlook the beautiful mountains and canyons of northern Jordan.

The next stop is Mount Nebo, one of Jordan's holy places and the "promise land". Moses is said to be buried somewhere on Mount Nebo. The top of Mount Nebo is high at an altitude of 817m (2680ft.), and you can see the Jordan Plain and the Jordan River from the observation deck.

Head to the Dead Sea by car (70km). It is the lowest point on earth that has exposed land and is known as the "navel of the world". The Dead Sea contains a high concentration of salt, so it is also called "Salt Sea" and there are no living things in the sea.
