Around 05:30 am, our veteran local driver will pick you up from your hotel in Delhi with a private cozy vehicle. On the way to Jaipur, we will pass by Rajasthan area, which was once reputed as the royal place for kings. Upon arrival, we will first meet our professional and knowledgeable tour guide of Jaipur, and then officially start our Jaipur tour package from Delhi with the spectacular Amber Fort, which is situated at the top of a small hill. We can opt to climb uphill the fort on foot or in a Jeep at your own cost. Built in 1592, Amber Fort resembles a pure ivory amber from a distance. Approaching the elegant chambers, ravishing ornaments can be seen around each corner. Among all the luxurious palatial castles, Sheesh Mahal, also known as the Hall of Mirrors, outshines others for massive colorful mirrors on its inner walls. As we descend the fort, a stretching moat circled with winding walls guards the royal chamber.
Then, we will take private transfer to catch a distant view Jal Mahal for it is a suspended palace over the lake center. It was built in the 16th century, and served for royal families as summer resort. After that, we will leave you some free time for lunch. Our guide will introduce some good restaurants for your choice.
After that, we will marvel at the grandiose Hawa Mahal, a typical Islamic building that designed with vast beehive windows on its front wall. These windows are hollowed out with red sandstone in the shape of half octagonal pattern, and it allows not only cool wind blowing through, but also royal concubines viewing street scenes without being noted from outside. We are not going inside but the pictures from outside would be marvelous.
After that, we will also wander with our guide to tour the City Palace, one of the best preserved relics in this country. The whole place complex was constructed in 1728, consisting of many luxurious castles with over eight gates. Till now, it is the residential place for the King of Jaipur and his generations. The City Palace is widely known for its perfect blend of Mughal and Rajasthan architectural style. Some parts has turn to be museum with two halls respectively displaying weapons and royal supplies of the past.
At the end of Jaipur trip from Delhi, we will spend some relaxing time lingering over around the Jantar Mantar Observatory, the perfect preserved one with large scale of measuring instruments, which can still be put into use at present. The verdurous grasslands is distributed with grotesque brick buildings as well the world's largest sundial dating back to the 18th century.
In the late afternoon, we need to bid farewell to Jaipur and our zealous guide. Our driver will take you back to Delhi and drop you off at the original departure spot or your preferred points. We wish you have enjoyed the Jaipur trip by car with us!
