Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, Airport pick-up
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at the airport, you will find your professional tour guide and driver waiting for you outside the baggage claim area. After a warm greeting, you will be escorted to the downtown hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you. You could either stay at the hotel to adjust to the time difference or wonder around to feel the charm of this city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City highlights
In the morning, we will head to Cu Chi Tunnels in the suburb area by a private car. Cu Chi Tunnels are a large underground network built by Viet Cong and after entering the tunnels, you will find out how hard the Viet Cong soldiers was during the Vietnam War. 

After that, we will drive back to the downtown area to have lunch and visit the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace. These sites always remind people the cruelty of war and the value of peace. Then your guide will accompany you to stroll around the local famous Ben Thanh Market and Dong Khoi Street to feel more about the local life in Vietnam. For your last stop today, you will come to the Central Post Office, one of the landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3: Transfer to My Tho, Board the Lost Civilization Cruise
After breakfast, you will have some time to explore the city by yourself. At around 10:00, your guide and driver will pick you at your hotel and then drive you for around 70 kilometers (43 miles) southwards to My Tho port to embark the luxury cruise. Your fascinating cruise journey along the Mekong River will begin here. After settled in, you will enjoy today‘s lunch on board. In the afternoon, the ship will sail to Cai Be and will stay overnight here.

Day 4: Cruise to Tan Chau with an exploration of the Cai Be floating market
Every morning at 06:00, there will be an invigorating Tai Chi class on the sundeck. After class, you could enjoy the sumptuous buffet breakfast. Then, the cruise guide will take you to explore the Cai Be floating market, where local people trade goods by boat. With the explanation of your guide, you will know the characteristics of this enduring marketing culture. En route, you will also get on-shore to visit some workshops to learn about how rice paper and coconut candies are made. Afterwards, get back to the cruise to enjoy today's lunch. Then you will have some free time to enjoy a true Vietnamese coffee at the bar or simply enjoy the riverbanks views.

In the afternoon, when reaching Sa Dec, you will embark on a traditional sampan and head to Binh Thanh Island. You will be escorted to wonder through the village and talk to the locals, which will give you an insight into the local lives. After the visiting, you will get back to the cruise and continue to sail to Tan Chau, the border of Vietnam and Cambodia. After dinner, you can enjoy a classic movie.

Day 5: Cross the border of Vietnam and Cambodia, Cruise to Phnom Penh
After breakfast, you will take a local special taxi 'Xich Lo' to explore Tan Chau. A leisurely walk along the streets will take you to experience the real Southeast Asian life. 

In the afternoon, you will cross the border and head to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. For the rest of the time, you can either get relaxed on the sun bed, get a massage, or join in a culinary class to learn how to make a local cuisine. After dinner, you will reach Phnom Penh at around 20:00 o'clock.

Day 6: Phnom Penh city sightseeing with the National Museum, Enjoy BBQ Dinner
In the morning, we will head for the Killing Fields and the Prison "S21". Both places show the tragic and brutal history of the Khmer Rouge, which ruled the country with terror and repression 

Then, accompanied by your guide, you will see the pretty and well-decorated Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, which is known for the location at the confluence of the Mekong River, Tonle Lake and Bassa River. Afterwards, proceed to visit the National Museum, which houses about 15,000 items spanning different periods of history. The day trip will end with a "cyclo" ride back to the cruise through the bustling streets of downtown. Tonight, you will enjoy a barbecue dinner with an Apsara dance performance.

Day 7: Visit a local school as well as two temples
Today, we will visit a local school to learn more about the education of Cambodia's young generation (the project funded by a NGO). The children will be happy to show you their skills in music and art. 

In the afternoon, you will be escorted to visit two temples. The first one is Wat Hanchey, which is a small pre-Angkorian temple located on a hilltop beside the Mekong River with breathtaking views. The other one is the colorful monastery of Wat Nokor. Here, you might have a chance to talk with some monks to learn about their life and thought.

Day 8: Cruise down the Mekong River, Explore the Island of Koh Oknha Tey
The cruise will sail downstream the Mekong River and stop at the Island of Koh Oknha Tey. Upon arrival, you will explore the island by local special tuk tuk car. Here are many manufactures of high quality silk products. You will walk into the workshops to learn how silk is processed from little silkworms to a final top quality product.

The cruise will pass the confluence of Mekong and Tonle River and sail towards Kampong Tralach today.

Day 9: Cruise to Siem Reap with an exploration of Kampong Chhnang
Today, we will visit Cambodia's "water world", Kampong Chhnang. After breakfast, we will first take a local boat to the shore, then change to a bus to a rural village nearby. The Khmer style pottery and palm sugar are the specialties of the village. You will be accompanied to walk into the village and learn about the real local life. Tonight, enjoy your farewell dinner and a talent show from the crew. The boat will moor near Siem Reap today.

Day 10: Arrival in Siem Reap, Visit Angkor Thom
Today your cruise journey will come to an end. Please package your luggage in advance. At around 09:00 o'clock, you will disembark and your Siem Reap local guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. 

After a short rest, you will be escorted to visit Angkor Thom, the capital of the Angkor Dynasty (802 - 1431). Inside this ancient capital, your guide will lead you to visit the Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King and tell you the historical stories about the Khmer culture. In addition, you will also find the famous "Khmer Smile". After leaving Angkor Thom from the North Gate, you will be led to visit the Preah Khan as well as the nearby Neak Pean.

Day 11: Angkor Wat full day highlights
The sunrise over Angkor Wat is one of the most beautiful sites in the world. Today, you need to get up early and we will set out to Angkor Wat. Your guide will take you to the best place to enjoy the sunrise, which will definitely be a special and wonderful experience. Then return back to the hotel to have breakfast today. 

After breakfast, your guide will take you to walk into Angkor Wat, the representative of Khmer architecture as well as the world's largest religious structure. Then the next sites will be Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm Temple, Ta Keo and East Mebon. Finally, you are going to appreciate the sunset and overlook the whole Angkor architectural complex at the Phnom Bakheng Temple.

Day 12: See-off at Siem Reap Airport
