Day 1: Depart from Delhi to Jaipur; Visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall Museum, A photo stop for Hawa Mahal

Built in 1728, City Palace is one of the best-preserved palace complexes in India and keeps being a residence of former royal family. Today, they are still living there and only a part of the palace is open to the public. Compose of several palaces, the striking Mughal architecture with white statues is well worth a visit. Besides that, the complex is more like a museum which collects the ancient garments, carpets, weapons and artworks of the past empire. You can easily experience the luxurious life of the past royals. Next, you will be guided to the largest royal observatory in India, Jantar Mantar, only a short walking distance from the City Palace. Jantar Mantar contains a group of astronomy instruments including the world's largest sundial. You will be surprised at how advanced the Indian astronomy was in the past and some of the instruments are still can be used today. Our guide will tell more interesting stories behind the observatory. What's more, the unique architecture and some bizarre statues are also intriguing.
After that, we will pass by Hawa Mahal and make a photo stop for it. Also called the Palace of Wind, it boasts the outstanding pink-painted appearance. There are nearly a thousand windows on the wall of 5 storeys, and the unique design makes wind blow in all the rooms easily. Don't miss the chance to take photos of its amazing appearance. The last stop of today's Jaipur tour package from Delhi for 2 days is Albert Hall Museum in south of the Old City, also the oldest museum in Jaipur. Named after King Edward VII, this museum was constructed in English and North Indian styles. Day 2: Drive to Amber, Visit Chand Baori Step Well, Amber Fort, And a photo stop for Water Palace, Drive back to Delhi
The second day of the Jaipur trip for 2 days from Delhi will come to Amer, which is located 11km (9 mi) north from Jaipur City. After the breakfast, you will get there by a comfortable car ride. The first destination is Chand Baori Step Well, which was built for saving rain water in drought climate. As one of the largest and oldest step wells, it has thousands of steps and the water is saved in the bottom center.
Next, you will be accompanied to visit the nearby Amber Fort which is the most remarkable palace in the Jaipur area. Encompassed by great city walls and a moat, the majestic place complex is comprised of 4 parts built from yellow, pink and white marble stones. Located on the hill, it used to be the capital of old Jaipur City, showing a unique charm and magnificence. In the palace, you can see various fabulous halls decorated with carvings, arches and delicate beliefs. The highlight is Sheesh Mahal, also named Mirror Palace. Decked out with a great number of little mirrors, it is extremely beautiful on sunny days. At night, the place will also be brighter than others even just lighting several candles because of the mirror reflection. After leaving the Amber Fort, we will have a photo stop for the Water Palace. It was built in the 16 century by then royals to escape the summer heat. Until now, it still keeps being a resort for the royal family. The palace was constructed in the center of the lake and it just looks like floating over the water at a distance. Taking photo with this amazing architecture at the river bank is a must-try activity when visiting Jaipur though it doesn't open to visitors.
