Day 1: Arrival in Delhi, Airport pick-up
Welcome to Delhi! Our local representative awaits you at the arrival hall, holding out your name card. You will then be transferred to and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day will be free for your own leisure. Either you familiarize yourself with the surroundings or take a rest to reenergize for the start of your 5 nights 6 days golden triangle tour.
Day 2: Full day Old & New Delhi city tour
Our guide will meet you at the lobby after breakfast to commence today's visit to the old and new parts of Delhi. First on the agenda is to pay our respect to Mahatma Gandhi's monument - Raj Ghat. Then, driving along the Red Fort and stopping for a short photoshoots, we arrive at Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of the country. Next, we will arrange a rickshaw ride for you to feel the chaotic atmosphere of Chandni Chowk, the most prosperous bazaar in Delhi.
In the afternoon, we will proceed to the 72-meter-high (236-foot-high) Qutub Minar and the Humayun's Tomb for its red configuration, a combination of Islamic and Hindu style. Next is the India Gate, built to commemorate unknown soldiers who sacrificed their lives. Driving past the President House and Parliament House, we will reach Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a worship house for the Sikhs. After the day tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
Day 3: Drive for 3.5h from Delhi to Agra by private car, Agra city sightseeing
After breakfast, we will continue our golden triangle tour 6 days to Agra with a private transfer. Upon arrival, we will get settled in your hotel.
Time will be given to you for freshening up before our visit to Agra Fort, a majestic Islamic architecture that is situated at one side of Yamuna River with a red appearance. Listed as a World Heritage site, there used to be more than 500 buildings in the castle, but few remain today. Octagonal Tower, Moti Masjid and Jehangir's Palace are the most attractive and popular among the remaining buildings. Next is the Tomb of I'tmad-ud-Daulah, also known as Baby Taj, followed by a visit to Mentab Bagh, which offers the perfect panoramic view of Taj Mahal. We return to the hotel after that.
Agra Fort: You need to wear long trousers when visiting. Visitors in shorts, umbilical clothing and halter clothing are not allowed to enter.
Day 4: Taj Mahal tour, 5 hours' drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri
Today, we will wake up before dawn, as we are going to catch the stunning sunrise view of Taj Mahal, an everlasting monument of the love story between Emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Then, we will drive back to your hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we will drive to the Pink City - Jaipur. En route, we will pay a visit to the historic royal city, Fatehpur Sikri, the former royal capital of the Mughal Empire. We will also stop at Abhaneri village to see the Baoris - one of India's deepest and largest step wells.
We will check into hotel at Jaipur upon arrival.
Day 5: Jaipur full day city tour with Amber Fort
After enjoying breakfast at hotel, we will set off for the Amber Fort dating back to 1592. The luxurious interior is decorated with colorful glasses glittering under sunshine. Then, we will proceed to take a photo at Jal Mahal, also known as the Water Palace for it stands in the lake center. Later, we will proceed for a photo opportunity of the pink Hawa Mahal, aka palace of winds. The 953 windows on the peculiar façade allows gentle breeze through. Next is to visit India’s largest astronomic observatory - Jantar Mantar, which houses the world largest sundial. We will conclude your Agra and Jaipur tour from Delhi at the City Palace. It is still being used as the official resident for the leader of Jaipur. We will return to the hotel after our day tour.
Day 6: Drive for 5-6h from Jaipur to Delhi, Airport see-off
After breakfast, we will bid farewell to Jaipur and drive back to Delhi. Our driver will drop you off at the Delhi airport for your homebound flight. We wish you a safe journey home!
