Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Our Nepal Bhutan and India tour will start with Kathmandu. Upon landing at the airport, we will meet you outside the customs area. After a warm greeting, a private transfer will take you to the hotel for a short rest. Then we will set out to Durbar Square to admire historic monuments and enjoy the antique Swayambhunath Stupa.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Nagarkot (32 Km)
After breakfast, our guide will show you the grand dome-shaped Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square brimmed with ancient Newar buildings of the 16th century. When the visits are finished, we will take a private car to Nagarkot and get lodged at the hotel.

Day 3: Nagarkot - Kathmandu
We will get up early this morning to take in the magnificent sunrise over the snow-capped Himalayas. After that, a private transfer will take you to Bhaktapur Valley where we will see a lot of religious sites. Then we will proceed to Pashupatinath Temple to take pictures of its grandiose appearance. If coming at the right time, we could witness the cremation ritual at the ghat in front of the temple. When today's Nepal Bhutan and India tour is over, you will be transferred back to the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 4: Kathmandu
A visit to the Dakshankali Temple will start today's trip. After that, you will be transferred to Kirtipur Village located in Kathmandu Valley, and then have a sightseeing tour of the Chobhar Gorge. At the end of the day, a comfortable transfer will take you back to the downtown area. We will have dinner at a renowned restaurant while enjoying the dancing show.

Day 5: Kathmandu - Paro - Thimphu
After breakfast, our guide will help you check out of the hotel and then escort you to the airport for your flight to Paro. You will be picked up at Paro Airport by our warm guide and driver, and then be transferred to Thimphu to check in a hotel. Then we will escort you to visit the outstanding Buddha Dordenma Statue. Our Nepal Bhutan and India tour continues to Takin Sanctuary, which is followed by a visit to the Zilukha Nunnery. After that, we will drive back to downtown area to visit Bhutan Post Office Headquarters and Tashichho Dzong.

Day 6: Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, we will take a private drive to Punakha and have a short stay at Dochula Pass on the way to see 108 stupas. After checking in at the hotel in Punakha, we will set out to explore two important religious sites, Chimi Lhakhang and Punakha Dzong. At the end of the day, our guide will lead you to walk along the long suspension bridge spanning over Mo Chhu River.

Day 7: Punakha - Paro
Today, our Nepal Bhutan and India tour continues to Paro on our comfortable vehicle. After settling in at the local hotel, we will start off the day to Paro Dzong located on the hilltop with a history of nearly 400 years. Then, we will proceed to Ta Dzong, also known as the National Museum of Bhuta, to view over 3,000 historic relics there. After visiting another religious site, Kyichu Lhakang, we will drive back to the hotel in downtown area.

Day 8: Paro Hiking
After having a big breakfast, we will start off today's hiking tour to Taktsang and Drukgyel Dzong. Taktsang, also known as Tiger's Nest Monastery, was built at the edge of a cliff with a height of 900m (3,000ft), where we can take great pictures of dilapidated walls and remaining forts of Drukgyel Dzong nestling in the lush valley and against the snow-capped mountains. At the end of the day, we will stop by a local farm house to experience the local life.

Day 9: Paro - Delhi
Today, a morning flight will take you to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will meet our local representative and take a private ride to the hotel. After that, our guide will accompany you to start the Delhi tour with Raj Ghat. We then drive to Jama Masjid and have a glance at the Red Fort. A rickshaw trip around Chandni Chowk follows after and then the tour continues to Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, and Lakshminarayan Temple.

Day 10: Delhi - Jaipur (274 km)
Today, we will go to Jaipur on our private vehicle. After a short break, you can explore the prosperous bazaars and pick some souvenirs if interested.

Day 11: Jaipur - Amer - Jaipur
Today's India tour from Bhutan commences with a visit to the large-scale Amber Fort located on a hilltop. We can either hike up to the fort or taking a jeep. After touring around the castle, we will make a quick stopp-by at Jal Mahal and then continue our trip to historical monuments in downtown area, including Maharaja City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory and a photo opportunity of Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).

Day 12: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (244 km)
Today we will drive to Agra with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri featuring architectural features of Islam, Hinduism and Christianity. Upon arrival in Agra, our driver will assist you to check in the hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own arrangements.

Day 13: Agra
Today's tour will definitely be a highlight in this India tour from Bhutan, including the World Heritage Sites - Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The pure white Taj Mahal is praised as one of the most beautiful ancient relics in the world. The scarlet Agra Fort, as the former royal city of the Mughal Empire, not only reveals palatial arts, but also possesses military functions. At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to the hotel.

    The actual itinerary followed the schedule we had planned. Tour guides also adjusted the order of attractions according to the weather. Very flexible journey!
