Day 1: Arrival in Bangalore (Bengaluru), Airport Pick-up
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you at the Bangalore airport and then transfer you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for your own arrangements.
Day 2: Bangalore city tour, Drive 3.5h to Mysore
After breakfast, our guided tour starts at the Cubbon Park, a landmark situated at the heart of Bangalore. Built in 1870, this picturesque 'lung' of this city is not only rich in flora, but also in history. Next we will visit Lal Bagh, a botanical garden with more than 1,800 species of plants. Then we will head to the Nandi (Bull) Temple, a Neo-Dravidian-style temple built in 1537. You will see a huge statue finely carved in the shape of the sacred bull. Our Bangalore tour will end at Vidhana Soudha, a splendid white building serving as the office of the State Legislature. Afterwards, we will set off to Mysore by our private car. Upon arrival, we will help you to check in at your hotel.
Day 3: Mysore highlights tour including Mysore Palace
Today, our guided honeymoon package in India starts with the Mysore Palace, which is one of the largest palaces in India. This Indo-Saracenic palace is a combination of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic architectural styles. We can also see a lot of treasures and various iron decorations. Then we will proceed to the Chamundi hill, one of the eight holiest hills in South India. On the top of the Chamundi hill, you will be guided to visit Chamundeshwari Temple dedicated to the Goddess Chamundeshwari. From here you will get a panorama of the picturesque hill. On our way back to Mysore, we will stop to see Nandi Bull, a massive statue carved out of a piece of granite.
In the afternoon, we will go for a guided tour in Srirangaptana, famous as a historical capital located in an island. We will first visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, a Vaishnavite shrine of significance in South India. Then we will head to Gumbaz, a magnificent mausoleum built by Tipu Sultan in 1792 for his parents. It is located on the center of a cypress garden. Our last stop today is Daria Daulat Bagh, an18th-century summer palace with Indo-Saracenic structures and the famous painting 'Storming of Srirangapattana'.
Day 4: Drive for 5h from Mysore to Hassan with stopover at Belur & Halebid
After breakfast, our India honeymoon package will lead you to Hassan by a private drive. On the way, we will stop at Belur and Halebidu, twin towns reputed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. First, your guided tour starts in Belur at the 13th-century Chennakeshava temple complex, which perfectly exhibiting the Hoysala architecture. The complex comprises many exquisitely carved temples like Chennakesava Vishnu Temple, built in memory of the victory of a battle. Then we will drive to Halebid to visit the Hoysaleshawara Temple housing twin stupas worshipping Shiva lingas, and the Kedareshwara Temple. When the visits are over, we will continue our drive to your hotel in Hassan. After check-in, you will be free to explore the city by yourself.
Day 5: Drive 7h from Hassan to Hospet with visit to Chitradurga Fort
Today, we will continue our India honeymoon package to Hospet. After breakfast we will set off by a private car. On the way, you will visit Chitradurga Fort with your driver. It is a stone fort built from the 17th century when Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan ruled this region. Later when we arrive in Hospet, we will help you check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own exploration.
Day 6: Full day guided excursion tours to Hampi Ruins
After breakfast, you will have a full day guided excursion of another UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Hampi Ruins full of old temples and ancient buildings built from 1565. Our first stop is Virupaksha Temple, the oldest temple of Hinduism and the most representative one of Hampi temples. Then we will move to the 16th-century Vittala Temple featuring a Garuda shrine in a form of stone chariot. Later, we will continue to Hazara Rama Temple to view the relief and carvings portraying the legends of the epic Ramayana. We will also see the 15th-century Elephant Stables, a rectangular building in Indo-Islamic style, the Queen's Bath with a history of more than 500 years, and the Ramachandra Temple. Today's India honeymoon package will end at the Lotus Mahal, a lotus-shape palace built in the Vijayanagara Dynasty.
Day 7: Drive 4h from Hospet to Badami with visits to Aihole &Patadakkal
After breakfast, we will drive to Badami. On the way we will visit an ancient temple complex - Aihole, a historic site rich in Hindu, Jain and Buddhist the temples from the medieval era. With your guide, you will see the 7th-century Kontigudi Group with Trimuty idols and the Galaganatha Group with the statues of Lord Shiav. We will also visit the 5th-century Lad Khan temple carved with floral elements, Durga temple aka the Fortress Temple, the cave temple Ravana Phadi and the Jyothirlinga Group. Next we will stop for a guided tour at Pattadakal, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring the Hindu and Jain temple complex from the 7th and 8th centuries. There are many famous temples like Virupaksha Temple, Sangameshwara Temple, Chandrashekhara temple, etc.
Afterwards, we will proceed our drive to Badami. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel.
Day 8: Drive 4h from Badami to Goa by private car
Goa is another interesting place that you cannot miss in your honeymoon package in India. After breakfast, we will drive you to Goa and check in at the hotel. Then you will be free to enjoy your leisure time. The city has been ruled by Portugal for hundreds of years so that the buildings are full of European style. In addition, there are a lot of beautiful beaches around the city.
Day 9: Goa morning tour, rest day free at leisure
After breakfast, you will be guided to the North Goa, where we will first visit the 16th-century Basilica of Bom Jesus, which preserves the mortal remains of a famous missionary, St. Francis Xavier. Then we will proceed to Se Cathedral dedicated to St Catherine of Alexandria. Built in the 16th century, it is considered the largest church in Goa. After that, we will continue to visit Panjim, the capital city of Goa, and then enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Altinho Hill. The last stop today is Dona Paula, renowned as a film shoot site. Afterwards, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city as you like.
Day 10: Goa free day at leisure
Today is free for your own arrangements. The exciting beach sports, delicious seafood and the scenic sea invite you to enjoy a wonderful day. After breakfast, you can partake in local day tour or explore on your own. You we will spend the night at the hotel booked by us.
Day 11: Departure from Goa
Your honeymoon package from Bangalore ends today. After breakfast, your driver will escort you to the Goa airport for your homeward flight. We wish you a nice journey!
