Day 2: Old & New Delhi city tour
We will start our 7 days Golden Triangle tour at the Old Delhi first with visits to must-see sites including Raj Ghat - the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi, a photo stop at the Red Fort and then the Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India. A rickshaw ride through the busy Chandni Chowk bazaar will give you the chance to see the lively local area.
Our afternoon trip will take us to New Delhi where we will see the 73-meter-high (240-feet) Qutub Minar and Humayun's Tomb - the mausoleum of the second king of the Mughal Empire (1526 - 1857). Our next stop is the India Gate, built in memory of the unknown soldiers during the war. We will then drive past the Parliament House and the President House to visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh Temple but frequented by all religions.
Humayun's Tomb: The best time to visit Humayun's Tomb is at dusk, when there are less tourists and you could see the fabulous sunset view. The whole tomb will become golden and it is very beautiful.
Day 3: 5-6 hours' drive from Delhi to Jaipur with coffee break
In the morning, our professional driver will transfer you to the next destination of this Delhi Agra Jaipur tour package, the Pink City of Jaipur. Our driver will assist you when checking in at the hotel. You could spend the rest of the day visiting the Jaipur bazaars or walking through the colorful streets. Our driver and car are free for your disposal within the city limits for the rest of the day.
Day 4: Jaipur full day tour with Amber Fort
Our guided Jaipur tour starts with the stunning Amber Fort, the earlier capital of Jaipur built in 1592 and located on a hill in the northern suburb of Jaipur. The fort was constructed of red sandstone and marble and was divided into four sections. We can ascend the fort by walking. Or if you wish, you can choose to take a jeep to reach the fort and this additional service can be paid on the spot.
On leaving the fort, we will drive past the Jal Mahal, also known as Water Palace. Then we continue our trip to Maharaja City Palace, which has been the royal palace for nearly 300 years, and the nearby Jantar Mantar Observatory. Today, we will conclude our Golden Triangle tour 7 days with a photo opportunity of the Hawa Mahal, better known as the Palace of Winds, which is constructed with 953 honeycombed-like windows, for women of the royal family to look out over the busy streets unseen by other males.
Day 5: Drive for 5h from Jaipur to Agra with stopover at Abhaneri & Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, we will head to Agra, another highlighted city of this Delhi Agra Jaipur tour. On the way, we make a stop at Abhaneri village. Here our driver will show you around and take you to visit the unique Chand Baori, which is considered the largest step well in India and was used to harvest water.
Then we will continue driving to another must-see attraction of Fatehpur Sikri. Our local guide will introduce you to this former capital of Mughal Empire, which was built during 1571 - 1585 and contained countless sleek chambers. When arriving in Agra, check in at the hotel. You will enjoy the afternoon free at your own pace. Our driver and car are at your own disposal within the city limits.
Day 6: Agra highlights tour with Taj Mahal
The best time to visit the Taj Mahal is at sunrise when there are fewer crowds and the temperature is more comfortable. Our guide will meet you in the early morning to take you there. The Taj Mahal is often praised as the most beautiful monument in the world, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife.
After that, we will return to the hotel for breakfast. Then we will visit the 450-year-old Agra Fort, which once served as the royal palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort allures travelers for the luxurious and exquisite stone carving and mosaics on the wall. For the rest of the day, you can explore the city at your own pace. Our driver and car are at your disposal within the city limits.
Day 7: Drive 3.5h from Agra to Delhi, Airport see-off
Our fascinating Delhi Jaipur Agra tour comes to an end today. You will enjoy some free time before our driver transfers you to Delhi Airport for your homeward flight. We wish you enjoy this Golden Triangle tour 7 days and have a nice trip home!
