Day 1: Arrival in Hong Kong (Self-exploration)
Welcome to join this 13 days China tours from Hong Kong! When you arrive, take public transportation to the Regal Kowloon Hotel where you have a reservation. We recommend you to take the direct bus A21, which gets to the hotel in 75 minutes at about HKD 33. The nearest stop is Granville Road, Chatham Road South. You may venture out in the hotel neighbourhood after checking in.

Day 2 Hong Kong (Self-exploration)
Today you may plan your own self-exploration route rather than following any of the ones suggested. Transportation by buses and MTR is both convenient and affordable.

We strongly recommend you to visit the Hong Kong's premier tourist attraction-Victoria Peak, where you can grasp a comprehensive scenery of Victoria Harbor. The Aberdeen and Repulse Bay should never be missed if you want to know all aspects of Hong Kong. It will be a treat at the Stanley Market, where you may buy souvenirs and taste snacks.

Day 3: Hong Kong - Beijing
After breakfast you then travel to Beijing, which takes 3.5 hours by plane. Upon your arrival at the Beijing Airport, our guide will meet you at the arrival hall. After exchanging niceties, you will be brought to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 4: Beijing
This morning, we will first visit the Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Then proceed to the Forbidden City, an emperors’ palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911AD). Around noon, an a la carte welcome lunch featuring the most representative Beijing cuisine - Peking Duck will be provided for you. Afterwards, we will visit the Temple of Heaven and then go to appreciate the Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater.

Day 5: Beijing
For outdoor enthusiasts, scaling the Mutianyu Great Wall is a life's delight. Today we will see this marvel by taking a round-trip cable car. We will provide each of you a glass of red wine to raise a toast on the occasion.

Lunch is not included today, so we kindly suggest you to have a big breakfast or pack your own lunch at breakfast time earlier. Then we will have a relaxing stroll at a featured local market.

Day 6: Beijing - Xi'an
After breakfast, we will first visit the Summer Palace, where you can see many glorious buildings alongside the Kunming Lake. After that, we will briefly pause outside the Bird’s Nest, also called Olympic National Stadium for for pictures taking.

An a la carte lunch is prepared for you at noon. Then we will visit Beijing Hutong by rickshaw. We arrange for an artist to guide you through a hands-on traditional Chinese Paper-cutting session. These activities can make your China tours from Hong Kong to Beijing much more interesting.

After that, the guide will take you to the airport and help you board the flight to Xi’an, where upon your arrival, a local guide will assist you to the hotel.

Day 7 Xi'an
Today we start with the Terracotta Army, the largest ancient military museum in China. Then we will socialise with a Xi’an local family and enjoy an authentic home-cooked lunch. Afterwards, we will continue our journey to Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi’an Museum. In the evening, you will be entertained at the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show, complete with dumpling dinner.

Friendly Tips:
As the theater is usually not open in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we will not arrange the show and dumpling dinner for tours during the periods. Guests will enjoy free time to relax.

Day 8: Xi'an
This morning, follow our guide to the City Wall Park where you get to learn Tai Chi exercise movement from a master whom we have invited. From there we continue sightseeing right on top of the Xi’an City Wall and rental bicyles are available. Proceed to the Shaanxi History Museum and the Great Mosque after an a la carte lunch break for background Xi’an information. There is leisure for you to explore the nearby Muslim Quarter and its offerings of delicacies.

Day 9: Xi'an - Guilin
This morning, our local guide will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Guilin. Once you arrive there, you will be met and taken directly to the Reed Flute Cave. Inside the cave, clusters of amazing stalactites under colorful lights make this cave look like a crystal palace. Then you will find likeness of a stone elephant standing at the riverbank playing with the water at Elephant Trunk Hill, another master piece of nature.

Day 10: Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
We will take a Li River Cruise ship from Guilin to Yangshou. The cruise will take about 4 to 5 hours. On the way, you will view many beautiful sights like Wangfu Rock, Mural Hill, and Yellow Cloth Shoal. After lunch, disembark at Yangshuo and proceed to visit the West Street for the local cultural atmosphere. We will have a visit to the countryside before returning to Guilin by car.

Day 11: Guilin - Shanghai
This morning, our guide will take you to the airport for a flight to Shanghai, where you are met and taken to the hotel by our experienced guide. You can make your own schedule for the rest of the day.

Day 12: Shanghai
We will visit the Shanghai Museum, where numerous exquisite artworks, like bronze wares, porcelains, calligraphies and paintings are on display. We continue on by visiting an ancient royal garden- Yu Garden and the bustling bazaar nearby, where souvenirs are aplenty. At noon, an a la carte farewell lunch will be arranged.

Next on our agenda is to visit the well-preserved Former French Concession. Then stroll on the Bund alongside the Huangpu River to appreciate the charming scenery over there. Today your mainland China tours from Shanghai will be ended with an exciting one-hour Huangpu River cruise tour.

Day 13: Departure from Shanghai
