Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Welcome to Beijing! Your private guide and driver will wait for you at the Beijing Airport and later send you to check in the hotel. Have a good rest at the hotel and get prepared for the coming China Mongolia tour.

Day 2: Beijing
Today your China Mongolia tour will begin with a morning walk at the Tian'anmen Square, the largest city square in the world which can hold one million people in a grand gathering. It has great historical and cultural significance as it has witnessed important events like founding ceremony of PRC. Then we'll walk through the square to explore the Forbidden City, also known as Palace Museum, which used to be the abode of 24 emperors and their households during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). Consisting of 980 surviving buildings, the well-kept palace complex now is the largest ancient wooden architectures in the world.

After the a la carte lunch, we will go to the Temple of Heaven with a history of nearly 600 years. It was a grand royal religious site for emperors in the Ming and Qing Dynasties to hold the annual ceremony of worshiping the gods of heaven and praying for a good harvest.

Day 3: Beijing
Today we will go to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best-preserved section of the Great Wall with gorgeous scenery and less visitors. The wall winds about 5.4 kms (3.4 mi) up and down the top of continuous mountains like a dragon. With the vegetation coverage reaching up to 98%, its surrounding scenery is very pleasant and changes with the four seasons. After arrival, we'll take the cable car to ascend and descend the wall.

In the afternoon, we will return back to the downtown area and on the way have a stop to overview the Olympic National (Bird's Nest) at a distance and take some nice photos.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
Today we will enjoy a morning walk at the Summer Place, the largest and most complete royal garden in China. It is also reputed as the museum of royal gardens for its grand constructions and elegant gardening landscape which amplifies the essence of Chinese traditional horticulture. Then we'll take a rickshaw to travel through the old Beijing Hutongs and observe Beijingers' life. Later you will be escorted to the railway station and then take a 5-hour bullet train to Xi'an. Your Xi'an guide and driver will pick you up from the railway station and then send you to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 5: Xi'an
Today we will follow the China Mongolia tour to visit the Terracotta Army, a magnificent collection of terracotta sculptures of soldiers, war horses and chariots in battle form, buried with the Emperor Qing Shi Huang who unified the six kingdoms into one and established the first centralized dynasty in Chinese history.

Then we will go to Shaanxi History Museum, one of the largest state museums which exhibits rich cultural relics with a time span of one million years including simple stone tools used in the initial stage of ancient humans and all kinds of implements in social life before 1840. Later we will tour around the City Wall, the oldest and most complete city wall in China which was first built in 582 AD. The wall is rectangular in shape, 14 km (8.7 mi) in length and 12-14 meters (39-46 feet) in width. You could enjoy overlooking the city center while walking on the wall.

Day 6: Xi'an - Beijing
After breakfast, we will go to Xi'an Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a 13-storey heritage tower built in the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) which witnessed the process of Buddhism's introduction and integration into Chinese culture. About noon, we'll pay a visit to a local family and enjoy an authentic home-cooked lunch there. Then we'll transfer you to the airport for the flight back to Beijing. Your driver will wait at the airport and later send you to the hotel.

Day 7: Beijing - Ulaanbaatar
In the early morning, your driver will send you to the airport for a 2-hour flight to Ulaanbaatar. When arriving, you'll find the local driver waiting at the airport arrival lobby and then be transferred to check in the hotel. Have a good rest at the hotel or take a walk around nearby places for the rest of the day.

Day 8: Bayan Gobi Desert (Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes) & camel riding
After breakfast, today's Mongolia tour from China will begin with a trip to Bayan Gobi Desert, also known as Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, located on the northern part of the famous Gobi Desert. The sand dunes surrounded by mountain ranges and dotted with Gobi-style shrubberies, together with a lush oasis near a river, show a microcosm of Mongolian landscape. In the afternoon, we will visit a local nomadic family, learn about their lifestyle and then enjoy a camel ride to sightsee the rolling sand dunes.

Day 9: Karakorum & Erdene Zuu Monastery
Today we'll drive 1.5 hours to Karakorum, a popular tourist town in Mongolia, which was the headquarters of Genghis Khan, the great Mongol conqueror, and later the ancient capital of Mongol Empire. When arriving, we will visit the museum of Karakorum to learn more about the town and Genghis Khan's history. Then we will go to the Erdene Zuu Monastery, probably the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia featuring 108 white stupas spaced evenly along each wall of the monastery, resembling a Tibetan Buddhist rosary. You will also get the chance to listen to the monks chanting sutras and experience ancient Buddhist culture.

Day 10: Hustai National Park (Wild Horse Park)
Today we will go to Hustai National Park, which was built to protect the endangered Przewalski's wild horses, the only true wild horses existing in the world. When arriving, check in the nearby ger camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, we'll first go to the information center to get more information about the park and the wild horses, and then drive to the place near the horses' habitat and go for a hike to find them. You will have chances to see some wild animals during hiking.

Day 11: Terelj National Park trip & horse riding
Today we will drive to Terelj National Park, the third largest national park in Mongolia. It features wild beauty, incredible landscape of picturesque mountains, rich forests and grasslands. On the main road to the park, there is a marvelous naturally formed granite with a height of 24 meters (79 feet) and in shape of a turtle. After arrival, we will go to Ariyabal Meditation Temple on the top of a steep hill to get a panoramic view of the park and then visit a local family before taking the 1-hour horse ride to explore the park in depth.

Day 12: Genghis Khan's Statue Complex - Ulaanbaatar city tour
After breakfast, we will drive back to Ulaanbaatar and on the way visit Genghis Khan Statue Complex, famous for a 40-meter-tall steel statue of Genghis Kkan on horseback. You could take the elevator to reach the platform at the head of the horse and overlook the vast grassland.

After lunch, we will show you around the Genghis Khan's Square sit in front of the State Parliament House and explore the National Museum of Mongolia. Then go to Gandan Monastery, the last destination of the Mongolia tour from China. The 26.5-meter-tall copper statue of Megjid Janraisig inside the monastery looks spectacular. It is the state's national treasure and world's largest indoor statue. In the evening, you will enjoy an extraordinary Mongolian traditional music and dance show with unique Khöömii, the Mongolian throat singing.

Day 13: Departure from Ulaanbaatar
