Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Dear friends, welcome to join this wonderful China and Thailand group tour. Upon your arrival at Beijing Airport, our guide will be welcoming you in the arrival hall. After greeting you, our driver will then escort you to the hotel for a good rest.

Accommodation: The Great Wall Hotel Beijing (5 stars) - the former Sheraton

Day 2: Beijing
After breakfast, follow our guide to start your exploration of the city of Beijing. It starts from Tiananmen Square, the center square of Beijing. Then, proceed to visit the Forbidden City, the biggest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace complex of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasties. At noon, a nice a la carte lunch will be provided in an elegant restaurant.

After lunch, we will visit the Temple of Heaven, which was a special altar for the emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) Dynasties to seek blessing for their country and people, and is now a public park for locals to get recreation. In the evening, a fascinating Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre is specially prepared for you.

Day 3: Beijing
After breakfast, we will go directly to the magnificent and continuous Mutianyu Great Wall. From the round-trip cable car, you will discover the great landscape of the Mutianyu Great Wall. We will not arrange a lunch for you today. So you’d better have a big breakfast at the hotel or take some snacks with you. A red wine toast will be provided to celebrate your ascent of the Great Wall. Today’s sightseeing will come to an end after a leisurely stroll at a local market.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an
Today we will pay a visit to the Summer Palace, known as “Royal Garden Museum”. The elegant sceneries and various representative buildings inside the palace will leave a deep impression on you. Afterwards, we will drive to the Olympic National Stadium for a short photography stay. A la carte lunch is arranged at noon, then we will continue experiencing the lifestyle of Beijing folks living in the original Hutong alleys by taking a rickshaw. Apart from that, you will also get the chance to learn Chinese paper cutting from a folk artist.

After that our guide will transfer you to the airport and help you board a flight to Xi’an. Upon your arrival, a local guide will meet you and escort you to a local hotel for a good rest.

Day 5: Xi'an
After breakfast, we will come to one of the highlights in your China Thailand tour - the Terracotta Army, which has been visited by more than 200 foreign heads of state and government and is known as “the eighth wonder of the world”. Then we will pay a visit to a local family and the hosts will serve us an authentic home-cooked lunch. A simple cooking class is also arranged so that you can learn from the hostess how to make some simple dishes.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi'an Museum. A famous Dumpling Dinner with Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show is prepared for this evening so that you can have more fun and better experience the charm of the ancient capital Xi’an.

Friendly Tips:
As the theater is usually not open in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we will not arrange the show and dumpling dinner for tours during the periods. Guests will enjoy free time to relax.

Day 6: Xi'an - Shanghai
After breakfast, follow our guide to the City Wall Park. Tranquility and enthusiasm inside the park help create a unique environment, thus being a very popular place for the locals to relax. There we will also learn Tai Chi from a master. Afterwards, continue to visit the City Wall, one of the highlights of ancient capital Xi’an. Bicycles are available for hire so that you can ride on the City Wall and appreciate the remarkable buildings of this ancient city in detail.

An a la carte lunch is served at a well-known local restaurant. After that, our guide will leave you to go to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon landing, an experienced local guide will wait for you in the arrival hall and then transfer you to the hotel.

Day 7: Shanghai
After breakfast, your exploration of Shanghai truly begins. The first stop is the Shanghai Museum, in which more than 120,000 precious cultural relics from different dynasties are collected and stored. Then we continue to visit the beautiful and tranquil Yu Garden. Taking a walk in the nearby bazaar will be nice before having an a la carte lunch. Then, we will have a stroll around the Former French Concession and the Bund. Today’s travel will end with a one-hour cruise tour along the Huangpu River.

Day 8: Shanghai - Bangkok
After breakfast, our guide will escort you to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, our local guide will greet you and accompany you to the hotel. You can have a good rest or explore the city on your own.

Day 9: Bangkok
Today’s China Thailand tour begins with a visit to the Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok. Inside the temple is the biggest reclining Buddha in the world. We will go there early so that we can appreciate the monks' morning chanting ritual at around 9:00. Then we will continue to visit the Grand Palace, which is the most perfect, glorious and well-preserved palace with national characteristics in Thailand. Afterwards, we come to the symbol of Bangkok - Wat Phra Kaew, meaning “the Jade Buddha Temple”. You can have a prayer or a meditation in front of the Jade Buddha, which could make your wishes come true according to the Thai people’s faith.

After enjoying lunch, we will have a private boat cruise on Klong Bang Luang. As the ship sails, you will see many old houses, shops and temples through this whole area. Then the boat will stop at Baan Silapin, meaning “artists' house”. Walking on the street, you will see many galleries with various works in display. If we are lucky, we can also enjoy the puppet show, which often starts at around 2 p.m.

At the end of the day, we will visit the picturesque Wat Arun, also called “Temple of Dawn”, which was built to commemorate Thailand's 41st-generation king and the national hero Zheng Zhao. After the visit, the guide will leave you to go back to the hotel.

Day 10 Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Bangkok
Today, our China and Thailand group tour is drawing to a close. After breakfast, we will drive to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand, to appreciate various examples of Thai ancient architecture. Then visit the representative Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Phra Srisanphet and Wat Mahathat. Afterwards, we will come to the Muslim Quarter. Then, we will travel back to Bangkok by cruising on the Chao Phraya River to appreciate the Thai architecture. The guide will take you to the hotel once you return to Bangkok.
