Day 1: Private drive from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
In the morning, we will greet you at your own booked hotel in Bangkok. Then we will drive around one hour to reach Samut Songkhram. After arrival, start your Bangkok itinerary 4 days from Maeklong Railway Market, where the vendors are selling various cheap fruits and fresh vegetables along the railway. But they will pack up their stalls for a while when hearing the warning whistle of the railway station, which means the trains are approaching. This kind of marvelous market scene is only visible here. Then go on to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Taking a boat to sail along the river slowly, you will see the life scenes of the residences on the river banks.

After cruise, you will spend 1.5 hours driving towards Kanchanaburi and check in the hotel. Then proceed to the Art Gallery & War Museum near the Bridge on the River Kwai. In the Second World War, the Japan Army occupied Thailand and forced the allied prisoners of the war to build a railway between Myanmar and Thailand (used to be called Siam). The railway over the Bridge on the River Kwai is called the Death Railway for the reason that it is built at the cost of numerous precious lives. After lunch, you'll go to the Pak Pkreak Pedestrian Street in the old city of Kanchanaburi. Along the street are the ancient architectures. You will have a cup of coffee there and then return to the hotel. As for dinner, you will enjoy it in a local restaurant.

The train operating from 10:50 to 11:57 will pass through the viaducts over the river, so you can overlook the picturesque scenery of the valley along the way.

After lunch, take three hours' drive to Sangkhlaburi, a small town in west Kanchanaburi. Here, you will go sightseeing the Mon Village, a local market, and Mon Wooden Bridge. With a length of 900 meters (984 yards), it is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand and also the second longest wooden bridge in the world only after the U Bein Bridge in Myanmar. It has been the symbol of Sangkhlaburi. The perfect combination of the unique wooden bridge and the charming scenery has made tourists indulging in the romantic and simple rural life. Day 3: Tour in Sangkhlaburi before back to Kanchanaburi
In the morning, you will get up early to give alms to the monks in Mon Village and then go back to the hotel for breakfast. Continue to visit the most important temple in Sangkhlaburi – Wat Wang Wiwekaram. The most well-known in this Burmese-style temple is a 59 meters (193.5 feet) high replica of Buddhakhaya dagoba. Though without the crowds in the temples of Bangkok and the grandeur of the temples in Chiang Mai, the temple here have its unique characteristics. At 06:00 every morning, the temple holds the chanting ceremonies and the villagers come spontaneously and knee down to pray.

Later, you are going to take a boat on Songkaria Lake to the most famous Sunken Temple. This ancient temple used to be the city center, but it submerged later when constructing the dam. In dry season, it will be above the water surface so that tourists are able to enter for a visit. While in rainy reason, only the upper part and bell tower are above the water, but travelers can see the wonderful underwater scenery of the temple by snorkeling or deep diving. In this experience, you can feel the mysteries of the temple. After lunch, you will return to Kanchanaburi and deal with the check-in procedures in Hin Tok River Camp. Afterwards, you can appreciate the scenery of the River Kwai and enjoy the leisurely primitive living environment.

Day 4: From Kanchanaburi back to Bangkok
After having breakfast in the hotel, you will set out to go hiking through the Hellfire Pass which is a part of the Death Railway. Remember to wear a pair of comfortable shoes. In those years, tens of thousands of allied prisoners used the most primitive tools to get through the mountain. When it was finished, 7,000 people had lost their lives. They worked day and night, and their thin shadows reflected on the wall by the flickering fire at night seem to be struggling ghosts in the hell. This is also the origin of its name. Then go on to visit the Hellfire Pass Museum and see the majestic scenery of Sai Yok Yai Waterfall. After lunch, you will return to the hotel in Bangkok and draw an end to your Bangkok 4 days tour.
