Our guide will first take you to the Angkor Archaeological Park by a private car, and start our Angkor wat day tour with Angkor Thom sightseeing. Angkor Thom complex was once the capital of the Khmer Empire and is now famous for the South Gate and temple grounds. Exploring this jungle temple, you will be surprised by the power of nature and embraced by a mysterious atmosphere.

Later, we will visit the Angkor Wat, the world's biggest religious structure and a representative Khmer architecture. Surrounded by a vast moat, Angkor Wat is a majestic structure which covers over 400 acres. It was originally built as a Hindu temple complex but it became a Buddhist temple by the end of the 12th century. Thus we can see both exquisite Hindu and Buddhist bas-reliefs. As you explore the old temple, our guide will narrate the stories of this monument and point out the nice places for taking photos.

Finally we will enjoy a sunset view at the Phnom Bakheng. Since it is on a top of a hill, it provides a panoramic view of the forest around and become a wonderful place for watching sunset.
